Lisa Babick

Lisa Babick is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Pop the Channel, where she covers current television and movies, forgotten TV, cult films, horror, streaming, FAST TV and whatever pop-culture rabbit hole catches her attention.

A veteran journalist with more than 30 years of experience in print and digital media, PR and marketing, Lisa is a former Senior Staff Writer for TV Fanatic, where she covered television during two separate stints beginning with Gotham. As PTC’s resident Pop Culture Archaeologist, she has a habit of turning a TV review into a trip through old newspaper archives, forgotten movies, television history and whatever else she finds along the way.

Lisa is also the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Button Guys of The New York Mafia, the archive-driven organized crime history site she created with her longtime creative partner, The Other Guy (TOG). She also produces and hosts Mob Fireside Chat, the digital video extension of Button Guys.
